Manufactured Home (Formerly Mobilehome)
A manufactured home is a single-family house constructed entirely in a controlled factory environment, built to the federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards (better known as the HUD Code). A mobile home can be connected to utilities and can be parked in one place or affixed or place on a permanent foundations and used as permanent housing.
The marriage wall is the area of our home where the two or mobile home units join together. Special mounting plates and bolts are used to ensure a seamless fit.
A term used to replace references to "mobilehome, manufactured home, and a multifamily manufactured home".
